On April 2, 2025, the Netherlands Association for Evolutionary Surgery (NVEC) and the Dutch Fluorescence-Guided Surgery Group (DFGS Group) will present a unique symposium focusing on new developments in the operating room. During the day, we will explore the future of image-guided surgery, emphasizing the versatile role of fluorescence — from identifying anatomical structures and sentinel nodes to assessing perfusion and tumor-targeted therapies. Additionally, we will examine other promising innovations set to enter the operating room soon. The program also includes space for eight selected abstracts.
Following this (evening program): NVvH Innovation Workgroup Symposium: ‘AI and Surgery: Plug and Play?’ The subsequent NVvH Innovation Workgroup Symposium is dedicated entirely to Artificial Intelligence in surgery: How can we implement AI practically and safely in daily practice? What are the opportunities and challenges?
* It will be a Dutch-speaking symposium
