Mission
The mission of the Dutch Fluorescence-Guided Surgery Group is to provide a national platform for engaged or interested clinicians and researchers involved in this rapidly expanding field.
Vision
Our vision is that sharing knowledge will empower us as a group, leading to closer collaborations and enhancing efficient and productive scientific research. We aim to increase awareness and create support and acceptance for the use of fluorescence-guided surgery.
By providing a national platform, organizing and facilitating scientific conferences, online research webinars, and educational activities, we stimulate partnerships between experts extending over all surgical and technical disciplines but also allow those interested clinicians or researchers to become more engaged.
We support, stimulate and enforce widespread clinical implementation, not limited to university medical centers, thereby clearing the way for the essential next step in bringing this technique to our patients. This initiative flourishes through the close partnership and support of pioneering researchers at the involved Dutch University Medical Centers.
